Monica always had an endearing smile on her face. Her life was colourful as family and friends from all over the world always surrounded her. Born in the extremely hot East, she travelled a lot around the cold Western countries of Europe. She adored diversity and craved different cultures. In Europe is where she finally settled down in her late twenties, with her husband and a career. Fascinated by the art world and her creativity, she gained a career in the industry. She was also passionate about food and wine. Hence why she was known to explore the varied restaurants. She was a food/restaurant critic in her own right. Known to be an elegant and sophisticated woman, she was well read and had a thirst for knowledge. For a very long time she was a lost soul trying to find her place in the world. She worried endlessly about a happy future, which seemed may never come. But she was a strong and determined woman and believed that she had the powers to make her dreams come true. Indeed they did, sooner than she thought. She was smarter than she gave herself credit for. Although people constantly admired her for her beautiful nature, she saw more beauty in others than she did in herself. However, her husband made sure he made her realise her true worth. She loved people and people loved her. Her family was the most important thing in her life. She knew that was the woman she was because of them. Monica was a loving daughter to her parents and grandparents, a caring and thoughtful sister to her siblings, and a devoted wife to her benevolent husband. Monica will always be remembered by her wild curls, infectious and uncontrollable laugh, her extraordinary thoughtfulness, remarkable honesty, and most of all, her love for life. She was most likely seen to be pouring everyone a glass of red wine or champagne, even at her own funeral. Monica was a conglomerate of passion, colour, and artistry. |
